NEW YOGA TREND ON THE WATER

HOW DOES FLOATFIT WORK? 

Floatfit falls into the category HIIT (high-intensity interval training), which means that you do a lot of strenuous exercises at short intervals and burn a lot of calories. Instead of spending time on solid ground, the exercises are done on the water: a robust mat, which floats on the water surface, a so-called aquabase. The mat is anchored with cords so that you can not get away from it, but it is far from easy to maintain the balance during the movements. The exercises are, by the way, inspired by the classic CrossFit, so you have to create squats, burpees, and planks on the Aquabase. 

HOW DOES An FLOATFIT SESSION BE OUT?

 Most of the time, a float fit course takes between 30 and 45 minutes, but you have to count on it to get more often in the water – so swimming clothing is practical. After a short warm-up phase, the cross-body exercises are carried out, which means that the entire body is needed (therefore, Floatfit is also an ideal whole body training ). They are carried out at intervals, with a total of about 20 minutes of running before a little splashing in the water and ending with stretching exercises.
